RALEIGH, NC — Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Raleigh Marathon & ½ Marathon has announced The ALS Association North Carolina Chapter, a non-profit committed to curing ALS and helping ALS patients and caregivers, as featured charity of the race. The 4th annual Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Raleigh Marathon & ½ Marathon returns the weekend of April 1 – 2 and will debut a new start and finish line.
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC — Chris Bailey of Charleston was the overall winner of the Publix Hilton Head Island Marathon on Feb. 11, racing home in 2:45:12. David Adams of Bluffton, SC, was second in 2:47:59, and Arek Robinson of Woodfin, NC, was third in 2:50:05.

FORT SMITH, Arkansas — Craig Adams of Bentonville, AR, won Sunday’s Fort Smith Marathon in 2:53:07. Katie Kramer-Ochoa of Broken Arrow, OK, was female winner in 3:20:32.
Second was Daniel Ray of Morristown, NJ, in 3:0:24, followed by Ian Campbell of Moore, OK, in 3:08:57 and Ryan Wrigley of Birmingham, AL, in 3:12:58.
RALEIGH, NC — Omar Wiggan, 37, and Erin Taylor, 34, both of Raleigh, won the North Carolina RRCA 5K State Championship at the Run for the Roses on Sunday. Wiggan finished in 16:52. Taylor won the women’s title in 18:20.
Second and third male finishers were Andrew Palumbo, 27, in 17:06, and Aaron Hale, 39, in 17:33, both from Raleigh.
FAYETTEVILLE, NC -- Fort Bragg and Fayetteville, NC will host the fourth annual All-American Marathon and “Mike to Mike Half Marathon on March 26. Alongside these two races, the All-American Family 5K will also be offered. Each course has been certified by the USA Track and Field Association and the marathon portion is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
SARASOTA, FL — Ross McGraw of New York was the winner of the Sarasota Music Half Marathon on Feb. 5, racing home in 1:18:58. Christopher Brennan of Reading, PA, was second in 1:22:32, followed by Ben LeBoutillier (1:23:03) and Taylor Henninges (1:23:20) of Sarasota..
TALLAHASSEE, FLa — Bryan Morseman of Bath, NY, was overall winner Feb. 5 of the Tallahassee Maraton, finishing in 2:27:12. Tamara Kozulina of Clermont was the female winner in 3:09:25.
