Ashton, White 10K Winners

COLUMBIA, SC — Eric Ashton, 49, and Shawanna White, 37, were the male and female winners Saturday of the Get in the Pink 10K. Ashton finished in 34:27. White, who finished third overall, won the female division in 37:53.

Michael Nance Wins 10K

IRMO, SC — Michael Nance of West Columbia won the Acts Metro Empower Run 10K on Saturday, finishing in 39:17. Female champion was Megan Golbus of Irmo in 51:09.

Male masters winner was Mark Whetstone in 47:01. Female winner was Cristina Cameron of Irmo in 56:18.

In the 5K, Ryan Plexico raced home the victor in 18:32. Kimberly Hardin was female champion.

MUSCLE SHOALS, AL — Adam Benefield, 21, of Haleyville was the winner of the Swampers 5K in 15:54.2. Ethan Corbett of Florence was second in 18:01.6, followed by Blake Yarbrough of Town Creek in 18:26.8.

Maggie Graham, 15, of Moulton was female champ in 22:43.9. Amanda Glassock of Rogersville was second in 24:07.7 and Katie Foster of Tuscumbia third in 24:11.1.

Corbitt, Stone win Toad Suck 10K

CONWAY, AR — Brent Corbitt of Little Rock won the annual Toad Suck Daze 10K Saturday in 33:05.94. Jememy Provence of Clarksville was second in 33:58.52, followed by Jonathan Aram of Little Rock in 34:56.9.

Tia Stone of Searcy was female champion in 37:38.63. Kathryn Phillips of Oklahoma City, OK, was runner-up in 40:40.95. Third went to Natalie Ragsdale of Pangburn, AR, in 40:58.67.

Kendra Miles, 8, of Lexington set the female 8-9 record with a 21:42 time at the Day Break 5K in Columbia on April 8.

Al Rampey, 95, of Greenville set the 95-99 record at the CooperA River Bridge Run 10K on April 1, finishing in 3:22:13.

Three new records were set at the Mo Big Butt 50K in Lancaster on Dec. 18, 2016:

Male 50-54 — 4:43:31, Byron Backer, 52, Greenville.
