It’s the second annual running of the Excalibur 10 Miler, organized by the Running Zone Foundation, which also has the Space Coast Marathon & Half Marathon. It is also the RRCA 10-mile championship in Florida.

Crowns will be awarded to all finishers. Two-person relay teams may enter.

The event will feature volunteers in period costumes, including jesters, maidens, knights, princes and princesses. The race finishes into Camelot though the castle entrance. Medieval Times will knight overall winners and also perform a sword fight at the awards ceremony.

Denise Piercy is race director.
