IMG_4926-275x238.jpgMIAMI, FL – Continental Event & Sports Management, producers of the Divas® Running Series, have announced a partnership extension with The Breast Cancer Charities of America through 2020.

The Breast Cancer Charities of America (BCCA), or iGoPink, will continue as the official charity partner of the Divas® Running Series, a designation they’ve held since the partnership began in 2016. BCCA, headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, is a non-profit organization, which exists for one reason – to eliminate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. iGoPink’s central focus is to educate, empower, and encourage all women to become pro-active in preventing breast cancer and, if diagnosed, in surviving breast cancer.

“The Breast Cancer Charities of America is honored to partner with the Divas® Running Series for the upcoming year, and through 2020. Through our partnership we are able to bring education, awareness and support to women going through breast cancer and also support the educational programs we provide to youth to prevent breast cancer,” said Erica Johnson, Founder & Executive Director. “We encourage every Divas® Running Series participant to make a fundraising page, get your friends and family involved in raising funds to support your Divas race and to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.”

The Divas® Running Series has events nationwide, in some of the best vacation destinations in the country. Some of their upcoming races include San Francisco Bay, California on April 15th, Galveston, Texas on April 22nd and North Myrtle Beach on May 6th. The series is all about girl power, with a sea of pink tutus, boas and tiaras at every event. Not to mention, a finisher medal with a fun boa design and a removable silver Divas heart charm compatible with most Pandora bracelets.

“We are excited to once again be partnering with BCCA as the series charity sponsor, extending the relationship through 2020,” stated Robert Pozo, CEO and President of Continental Event & Sports Management. “The corporate mission of BCCA ties in perfectly with the Divas Running Series being that 99% of our participants are women.”

The Divas® Running Series provides BCCA with an additional outlet to convey their message of education, empowerment and encouragement in the prevention of breast cancer. While registration fees are not tax-deductible, Divas® Running Series participants can donate and create fundraising pages to further support BCCA’s programs and outreach.
