Darling Reed continues strong running

gasparilla group.jpg Manatee (FL) High School Cross Country and Track Coach Rae Ann Darling Reed was the women's masters winner at the Gasparilla Distance Classic 8K in Tampa on Sunday, Feb. 23. She was the eighth overall female in 34:50. This is just four weeks after Darling Reed ran 3:26:26 to win masters at the inaugural Celebration Marathon. She is a USATF Level 2 and RRCA certified running coach and has been in the Brooks Inspire Daily Program since 2010 as a coach and athlete.

She is pictured here with fellow Suncoast Striders runners Katie Shunk and JP Hoffmeister and the top two overall male winners of the 8K, Jake Riley and Ethan Shaw of the Hansons Brooks Original Distance Project.
