University T&F Coaches of Year Named

NEW ORLEANS — Mike Holloway of Florida and Petros Kyprianou of Georgia have been named National Coaches of the Year in track and field by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Named national assistant coaches of the year were Tim Hall of Tennessee and Curtis Taylor of Oregon.

Holloway in his 15th year at Florida, won the men’s award, while Kyprianou, in his second year leading the Georgia Bulldog women, won the women’s national coach award.

Hall was male winner of the assistant coach award. Taylor, in his fourth year at Oregon, won the women’s coaching award.
