RRCA Seeks Applications for Roads Scholar® Grant

ARLINGTON, VA - Since 1996, the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) has awarded grants totaling more than $590,000 to 124 athletes through its Roads Scholar® grant fund. This grant fund is designed to assist American, post-collegiate, road runners who show great promise to develop into national and world class road running athletes. The RRCA awards grants in the amount of $5,000.00 to four to six athletes per year.

The program is directed towards runners who:

• Are US citizens;
• Have recently graduated from college;
• Plan to pursue elite distance running as a career;
• Expect to earn less than $30,000 from all sources during the calendar year.
The RRCA is now accepting applications for our 2018-2019 Roads Scholar class. The deadline to apply is September 1, 2018. Learn more about the grant criteria along with the application.
