Palm Beaches Marathon

WEST PALM BEACH, FL — Samuel Luttier of West Palm Beach was the overall winner of the Palm Beaches Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 3, in a time of 2:33:26. Anthony Pollizzi was second in 2:54:43 and Myles Fennon third in 2:55:20.

Tori Fulkroad of Millersburg, PA, was female winner in 3:09:35. Amy Green was second in 3:21:11 and Charisse Winter third in 3:21:35.

Josh Ortiz of Loxahatchee won the half marathon in 1:20:06. He was followed by Cobi Morales in 1:21:06 and Alan Stob in 1:23. In the female race, Ana Maria Villegas of Miami won in 1:26:07, followed by Michelle Chavez in 1:30:17 and Jennifer Rapaport in 1:30:58.

Runners crossed into Palm Beach over the Intracoastal Waterway on the Flagler Memorial Bridge for the first time, then returned to West Palm Beach on the Royal Park Bridge. Ken Kennerly of K2Sports had purchased the race, which had a two-year lapse. Kennerly is executive director of the Honda Classic PGA golf tournament at Palm Beach Gardens.
