Oiselle, a female athletic apparel company, partners with Olympic runner and clean sport advocate, Kara Goucher, on a full recovery fashion line. The Kara Collection features a set of Oiselle exclusive styles designed from concept to completion with Goucher.

The five piece collection is comprised of pants, a sleeveless hoodie, and a sweater all available in heather charcoal and heather ghost as well as two graphic tees. It is inspired by not only sport, but also the many moments we have as athletes post-workout. Though the style is casual, the fabric ingredients are top notch technical with a premium, lightweight fleece and an ultra-soft, pre-shrunk poly-cotton using water-based inks.

“As an elite runner, mother, and friend, Kara is the perfect embodiment of strength, grace, and unwavering dedication,” said Oiselle Founder and CEO, Sally Bergesen. “We are thrilled to unveil her first full line that captures those qualities.”

Goucher signed as an official Oiselle athlete in 2014. Her illustrious running career is bolstered by her advocacy efforts for animal rights and women’s empowerment as well as her outspoken opposition to the pervasion of performance enhancing drugs in the sport. As a 25-year veteran runner, Goucher understands the importance of rest while training.

“Recovery is an essential component to every athlete’s regimen,” said Goucher. “I wanted this collection to reflect that core principle while simultaneously adding a unique twist of style and comfort.”
