As the 2016 Jeff Galloway Race Weekend has begun plans for the December race event, major enhancements have been announced.

One of the revised features is the new location for the Jeff Galloway Race Weekend Expo and the VIP reception at The Westin Peachtree Plaza in downtown Atlanta, with convenient access via public transport and auto. The Westin Peachtree Plaza is one of the host hotels for Jeff Galloway race attendees.

“We have a significant passion for guest wellness and are delighted to host the Jeff Galloway Fitness Expo at The Westin Peachtree Plaza”, said Craig Cupit, Director of Sales and Marketing, The Westin Peachtree Plaza.

Having the expo at the Westin will allow for a fresh expo design.

Participants and expo visitors can still look forward to having an intimate experience with the Galloway team and sponsors while enjoying race related services, round table discussions and other presentations.

Along with the expo, The Westin Peachtree Plaza will also be the hosting location for the Jeff Galloway Race Weekend VIP Reception party. VIP member will have the chance to mingle with Galloway and his family, running legends, and the Galloway team. The hotel will provide a spectacular backdrop for this sought after event portion.

Apart from the new expo location, the Jeff Galloway Race Weekend announced earlier two other new components for the 2016 events: The personal training segment and an added race element.

Jeff Galloway offers now training programs for both Barb’s 5K and Jeff Galloway’s 13.1 to help participants prepare for the Race Weekend. Half marathon training will begin on August 6 and the 5K training will begin in September.

The new race feature will be known as the “Double G.” The Double G is for participants who want to challenge themselves by participating in Barb’s 5K and the Jeff Galloway 13.1. Those who choose the Double G option will receive an additional third medal for completing both events.
