Get in the Pink 5K/10K

COLUMBIA, SC — Harrison Kiriawi ran a fast 33:04 to win the Get in the Pink 10K on Saturday, May 12. Purity Muwene also ran a strong race, finishing in 36:49 to win the female division.

John Eric Ashton of Daniel Island was second male in 33:16, followed by Heath McDonald of Lexington in 37:21. Mary Claire Cox of Columbia was second woman in 42:19, followed by Jennifer Conrick of Lexington in 46:49.

Masters winners were Phil Midden in 39:27 and Colleen Strasburger in 53:07, both of Columbia.

In the 5K, Orinthal Striggles of Columbia was the victor in 17:04. Jonathan Tan (17:58) and Jacob Mangione (18:08), both of Lexington, were second and third.

Erin Miller of Columbia won the female title in 19:51. Madelyn Gomez (19:55) of Lexington was second, followed by Chelsea Baker (20:04) of Columbia.

Masters 5K winners were Drew Williams (18:37) and Lynn Long (25:17), both of Columbia.
