Eisenman Wins Donna Marathon

JACKSONVILLE, FL — Zackery Eisenman, 21, of Charleston, SC, won the 11th annual Donna Marathon on Sunday in 2:45:09. Runner-up was Satoshi Mitsumori of New York in 2:49:39, followed by Alexander Von Bormann of Rochester, MN, in 2:55.

Meaghan Murray-Neuberger of Baltimore ran 3:06:25 to repeat last year’s first-place finish. She was followed by Laura DiBella of Fernandina Beach in 3:08 and Diana Sitar of Palmetto in 3:08:04.

The Donna events have raised over $5 million for breast cancer research and support.

In the half marathon, Jacksonville twin brothers Justin and Jeremy Bryan finished first and second. Justin won in 1:15:43 and Jeremy finished in 1:16:47. Chris McCaffrey of Jacksonville was third in 1:17:16. Female winner was Lori Hunteman of Indianapolis, IN, in 1:33:26, followed by Jess Vossler of Neptune Beach in 1:33:45. Maria Isabella Poole was third in 1:35:03.

Marc Burget won the 110-mile ultra, which was held over two days. Michael Bond of Newton, AL, was second.
