Biggest party in marathoning set for February 28, 2010

NEW ORLEANS, La. - (June 9, 2009) - The Competitor Group and the New Orleans Track Club have announced a multi-year licensing agreement for the Mardi Gras Marathon. The Rock 'n' Roll Series will add the Mardi Gras Marathon to its schedule of races, hosting the Rock 'n' Roll Mardi Gras Marathon & ½ Marathon in New Orleans on Sunday, February 28, 2010.

MELBOURNE, FL (May 12) – The USA Masters Half Marathon Championship was a big hit with competitors, officials and spectators alike in February when it was contested as part of the 2009 State Farm Melbourne & Beaches Music Marathon.

Despite participating in a sport where tinkering, tweaking, and schedule flexibility can be key to health and progression, the one quality virtually all top endurance athletes share is consistency. We sit around a long table in a restaurant on Nashville’s Music Row, five women and seven men, eating, drinking and talking. A meeting is in progress.
