You’re on a training run and just passed a penny. Do you pick it up? Members of the Florida Striders do.

Jenny Allen heads up a club program called “Jenny’s Pennies.” Those little coins and any other money found by club runners go into the fund throughout the year.

Your upcoming race could result in a personal best time if you take the shortest possible route.

Course certifiers measure race course distance by measurements that are for the shortest possible route. If you race exactly how the course was measured, you’ll run the exact distance, otherwise, you’re running a greater distance.

Great idea for breakfast-on-the-run:

Raspberry Baked Oatmeal to Go.

Not only is this "pre-baked" recipe a great idea for when you oversleep, it's also a great idea for runners anytime. You can even eat these while running.

Bake 'em, put in the freezer, defrost in microwave when you want them.

Warning: It's doubtful these will last very long
